Saint Louis Ultrarunners Group

Founded in 1998, the Saint Louis Ultrarunners Group (SLUGs) is dedicated to promoting ultrarunning in the central Midwest. Fostering a community atmosphere, our club welcomes new and seasoned runners alike. If you are looking for great races, a friendly atmosphere and a group of people that are passionate about ultrarunning then you are in the right place.

SLUGS currently host four annual races. Additionally the club sponsors multiple charity runs, coordinates semi-annual trail maintenance, hosts aid stations at various running events throughout the Midwest and much more. Come join in the fun.

    Howard Aslinger Endurance Run
    24 and 12 hour race
  •  Berryman Trail Runs
     Berryman Trail Runs
    The Berryman Trail is an approximately 26-mile single-track loop through the Mark Twain National Forest. Run two loops for the 50-Mile race, one loop for the Marathon. The total elevation gain/loss is 2500 ft/2500 ft per loop.
  • Get Your Butt Kicked @ Route 66
    Get Your Butt Kicked @ Route 66
    The course is a measured 2.425 mile loop through the wooded northwest corner of Route 66 State Park. The course is a wide path consisting of thin pavement, chip n seal and some fine gravel.
